Talk Shows: Colbert’s Emotional First Win

For the first time ever, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert won the Emmy for Outstanding Talk Series. The moment was bittersweet, as Colbert had recently announced the show will end in 2026. The audience gave him a standing ovation, chanting “Stephen!” as he accepted the award.

Nate Bargatze’s Hosting Twist
